Theatre commander of “Operation Hadin Kai”, Major General Christopher Musa, has called for effective synergy and collaboration among security agencies and other stakeholders towards achieving success that will bring the Boko Haram/ ISWAP war to absolute end.
Musa made the call yesterday in Maiduguri, Borno State where he held an all-inclusive security meeting with stakeholders comprising, the state commissioner of police, director of State Security Service (SSS) and other heads of sister security agencies including the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), hunters and vigilante groups.
He said the security meeting was aimed at bringing all security stakeholders under one umbrella to discuss matters of great importance concerning the security situation and the ongoing surrendering of terrorists en masse, deradicalization process, increasing rate of criminality, sundry crimes and also charting a new course to strengthen the synergy amongst all members of the security agencies.

Heads of various security agencies briefed on matters of great security concern during the meeting and far reaching decisions were made aimed at boosting the security level within Maiduguri Metropolitan Council and environs.
The maiden meeting, which was first of its kind, unanimously decided to be held bi-monthly.
Present at the meeting were the deputy theatre commander 1 OPHK, Major General Ibrahim Jallo, acting general officer commanding 7 Division and commander sector 1 OPHK, Brigadier General Abdul Wahab Eyitayo, maritime component commander, Commodore RM Shammah, the theatre logistics component commander, Brigadier General Emmanuel Akpan and other principal staff officers of OPHK.
